I've kept this comic on the site here, not as a portfolio piece, but as a time-capsule of sorts. This was my first attempt at writing comics.

I was very lucky to know a lot of talented and seudo-available actors in Portland that allowed me to do the series with photography. It may not seem like it, but it was a lot of work. From storyboard to page, there was a lot of organization that needed to take place.

In retrospect, I spent more time worrying about the visuals and not enough on the script. Still, I learned a lot in the process. I think everyone who makes comics should know what it's like to put one together: from scripting to layout, lettering, printing, cropping, and finally stapling the book together. That's what this project was for me: my love letter to comics. Too bad I cringe every time I look at it.
